I feel myself keeps slipping away This unclean Spirit Loathing in pain So hard to get up get through the day In this world so unbalanced of which I must stay Feeling like a serpent And I'm out on the loose Running on juice Searching for Booze Nothing to lose Living life fast never taking it slow If todays my last then I'm ready to go I'm ready to go!

Gotta Go! 04:01
It's never felt so right to me But lately it seems like my destiny To see the lights on Sunset Strip Taking me higher take another rip I gotta gotta go To where the girls are pretty and the drinks are free I gotta gotta go To the City of Angels Bring out the devil in me Since I was a boy I knew this day would come Pack up all my shit leave the city and run Headed to the place where the city's alive It's almost time I can't wait to arrive I gotta gotta go To where the girls are pretty and the drinks are free I gotta gotta go To the City of Angels Bring out the devil in me

Long dark hair and legs so fine Let me take you home baby and make you all mine Make you all mine Take you right to the top hear my engine roar Feels so right baby so let me give you more Give you some more Rocking you all night baby The way you moves driving me crazy And girl all I want is more The wait you move those hips Gotta get me a taste of those lips Taste of those lips The taste of lust so strong Girl I'll shake you all night long All night long Rocking you all night baby The way you moves driving me crazy And girl all I want is more

Tattered torn this ship still sails, Drifting off towards the unknown, In this Darkest Hour waves rage high, And fire rains down from the sky, But I, I will prevail, The strongest storm won't keep me down, This ship will always sail, And I, I cannot fail, I've always had my dreams in sight, Just got to make it through tonight, And as time passes by, I find myself still lost at sea, Floating off towards nothing now, Seems the way it's meant to be, But I, I will prevail, The strongest storm won't keep me down, This ship will always sail, And I, I cannot fail, I've always had my dreams in sight, Just got to make it through tonight, Trying not to lose hope, Accept my destiny, I might just sail forever now, Into eternity, But I, I did prevail, The strongest storm won't keep me down, This ship will always sail, And I, I have not failed, I've always had my dreams in sight, Now lay these eyes to rest tonight

about

Some Peoples Kidz formed in the summer of 2009. Our first 3 songs were recorded not long thereafter. SPK had 14 songs total, and was working on a full length LP when unfortunate circumstances caused the band to call it quits. These songs capture the true & raw energy of what made SPK so great. Inspired/heavily influenced by 80s hair metal acts, such as: Motley Crue, Ratt, Faster Pussycat, LA Guns, etc.

about

Jason Franklin Denver, Colorado

I first started writing/playing music in 2001. I've always continued to write music from my heart and pour it into any project I'm in. I want you to take something with you when you hear my music. That could be a lyric, maybe an emotion it made you feel. As long as you feel something, anything, then I've done my job. ... more
